Empowering providers to deliver excellent care
Walkgrove has produced a wide range of training interventions for the NHS, Government, the private health sector and social care providers for over two decades.
Frontline health and social care staff deal with sensitive issues and engage with service users who can be frightened, confused or distressed. Our health and social care training interventions are adapted for large numbers of employees, equipping them to work safely and confidently with people who are vulnerable. We achieve learner engagement through clear, attention-grabbing and interactive techniques to ensure that they can retain and apply newly learned practices and techniques.
We have been nominated for and won numerous awards for our bespoke e-learning programmes designed for the NHS. In addition to legislation and compliance-related topics, our courses have covered mental health awareness, dementia, end of life care, doctors’ rostering, workforce planning and technical solutions for clinicians. We have also researched and trained on challenging topics including the patient journey, making every contact count and looked after children. For ten years we designed, delivered and evaluated (to Level 3) the mandatory f2f training for psychiatrists practising in Scotland on the consistent interpretation and application of the Scottish Mental Health Act.
