The training need
The M+W Group is a is a global leader in design, engineering and construction in the fields of high-tech facilities, life sciences and chemicals, energy and environment technologies and major complex projects.
M+W UK covers a region including the UK, Ireland, Belgium and Scandinavia. The Group commissioned Walkgrove to produce relevant e-learning for approximately 800 staff.
Given the dispersed nature of the M+W workforce, the Group was looking to use e-learning as a supplement to face-to-face training, especially for compliance training.
M+W Group UK wanted an internationally relevant course that would ensure staff could protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of company and client data, comply with local data security legislation and lessen the likelihood and impact of security breaches.
Our bespoke learning solution
Walkgrove created a bespoke 60-minute e-learning module that equipped M+W staff with the processes and principles they needed to protect information security.
Topics covered key information security standard ISO27001, data protection regulation, employee duties for information security and how to respond to information security incidents. To consolidate learning, quick quiz questions are used throughout, with a final validating assessment to confirm key areas of learner understanding.
The custom e-learning course design reflects a slick and professional look and feel in line with the M+W brand. Elegant learning screens use engaging learner-driven interactions supported by stylish conceptual photography.
In addition to Walkgrove’s bespoke learning design, M+W Group also selected a course on Equality and Diversity from Walkgrove’s generic Ready to Go range to help fulfill their need for online compliance courses.
