The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) Knowledge and Skills Directorate have a Housing Quality Indicator (HQI) tool.
HQIs are a method by which the quality of housing can be measured. Their principal use is measuring the quality of units funded under the National Affordable Housing Programme (NAHP).
Training on how to use the HQI methodology and the HQI tool was previously delivered face-to-face by HCA’s Design and Sustainability team using a combination of PowerPoint slides and practical demonstrations of the HQI tools.
Walkgrove worked with HCA to develop an e-learning solution. The main aim of the program is to provide self-directed learning on the HQI methodology across the affordable housing sector and provide HQI users with access to the information that they need.
The e-learning is hosted on the HCA’s VLE and is accessed by over 1,000 learners.
