Civil Service Learning (CSL) identified a need to modify existing e-learning programmes to make them available for cross government roll out.
The most important criteria was to adopt a style and approach that made the e-learning generic and accessible to all staff at all levels, without losing key messages or diluting content.
This particular example raises awareness of health and safety issues throughout the civil service.
To ensure it reaches its target audience at different levels of understanding, there are two versions: Health and Safety Awareness for All Staff covering the basic aspects of awareness of personal health and safety; and Health and Safety Awareness for Managers, which is designed to help managers understand their duties under health and safety law, and provides them with information to effectively manage health and safety in their area.
We created a fresh, professional and approachable look and feel, which reflects the CSL brand and is also generic in design to ensure it is suitable for all public sector organisations.
Realistic photographic imagery portraying the diversity of people and places across government, not only give the course an eye-catching and visually appealing look, but represent an environment the learner can immediately relate to. We have also incorporated scenarios to illustrate key learning messages and bring them to life through realistic situations.
