Walkgrove created two practical courses for insurance sector employees on the key elements of the product approval process.

The training need

Global provider of insurance products, Chubb, asked Walkgrove to design and deliver two product e-learning courses. The business wanted more consistent product oversight and governance training that would ensure delivery of a superior customer experience through employee compliance with consumer protection regulation and related Chubb policies.

The e-learning modules needed to make all customer-facing employees aware of the Chubb framework and processes so that they could best meet customer requirements. A more advanced module was also required for employees more directly involved in product development.

Our bespoke learning solution

Walkgrove developed a compact 15-minute bespoke e-learning course to cover the basics of product governance requirements, and a 25-minute advanced course to offer further in-depth practical guidance.

The overview-level course covers the importance of customer-centric product development and summarises the process of product approval. The advanced course goes into more detail about how to follow the stages of new or modified product approval.

In both of the custom e-learning courses, the professional bespoke e-learning design presents essential messages using clear and dynamic text and visuals. Explanations and case studies are supplemented with bespoke animations and infographics that bring content to life and make points easier to absorb and understand. To help learners apply their new knowledge and skills in a daily situation, the advanced course includes a range of realistic scenarios that challenge learners to think about and apply product approval best practices.

Each of the courses finish with a brief assessment to validate learner confidence and understanding.
