The first, a major high street retailer, has commissioned Walkgrove to develop a series of product knowledge e-learning modules. The second, a leading international IT services company, has commissioned Walkgrove to develop an IT induction program for over 10,000 users. Both projects have challenging time scales and are being developed using proprietary development tools to enable in-house amendment in the future.
The Audit Commission has selected Walkgrove for a second time to develop an e-learning course covering the Housing Benefits scheme. The e-learning will be used both as mandatory pre-course work for a classroom event and also as refresher training for those that need to remind themselves of some of the main aspects of the scheme. Typically, learners will be trainee auditors and contract staff working both internally on behalf of the commission and also from external organisations.
The development of the current healthcare workforce is seen as critical if the workforce is to be able to meet the current and future demands of health care needs. This e-learning program covering Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) for managers aims to help raise awareness, amongst managers and others, of what IAG is and how to apply its principles effectively as part of their day-to-day role. The program will help to drive attitudinal and behavioural change; encouraging managers and others to ‘buy-into’ the contribution that guidance in employment can make and the importance of the role that they have to play.
The latest addition to our team is Alison Riggott, ex-Creative Director from Peakdean Interactive Ltd. Alison has over 19 years’ experience in graphic arts and creative disciplines, as well as 15 years’ experience in creative direction/management roles. She will be managing projects and resources and using her graphics skills to ensure that our e-learning products continue to inspire and engage learners from across our public and growing private sector portfolio of clients.
NS&I has commissioned Walkgrove to develop two e-learning modules covering End to End Finance and Procurement. NS&I were looking to appoint a supplier with a proven track record coupled with an imaginative and flexible approach to develop a high quality and cost effective e-learning solution. In summary, the requirement is to provide e-learning to NS&I staff across the procurement and finance functions. The aim is to ensure that they fully understand and are able to demonstrate their understanding of NS&I processes.
Walkgrove's experience of bespoke legal training has won them two new projects from a new client. The Department for Education has commissioned Walkgrove to develop a set of training and learning resources to accompany the 2011 regulations and guidance which aim to streamline social work for looked after children and care leavers. Walkgrove also won the work to consult with local authorities and children’s homes providers as they prepare to apply the new Children’s Homes National Minimum Standards and regulations which also come into force in April 2011.
Since being appointed as a framework supplier to the Audit Commission in December last year, Walkgrove have already started work developing e-learning solutions for their full-time and contract staff.
