Walkgrove is delighted to announce that their work with WYG and TfL on the LoCITY initiative has been shortlisted for an award in three categories; Best learning game, Best use of blended learning in the UK and Excellence in the design of learning content in the public and non profit sectors.
The Transport for London (TfL) sponsored LoCITYprogramme brings together powerful stakeholders to stimulate the uptake of low emission commercial vehicles. LoCITY is engaging, supporting and preparing the freight and fleet industry for implementation of the Ultra Low Emission Zone by 2019.
TfL collaborated with consulting partners WYG and learning provider Walkgrove, to create a blended learning programme to educate transport managers and drivers to operate commercial vehicles to minimise emissions and raise awareness of alternatively fuelled vehicles.
Piloted and then rolled out six months’ ago, take-up has been both enthusiastic and in numbers.
