With 25 years’ experience in the training industry, Walkgrove understands the necessity of adopting safe and efficient processes. Our most recent accreditations include the following certifications from the British Assessment Bureau: ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2017.

The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) was created in 1947 after a need was recognised for universal coordination and unification of industrial standards for organisations. Just over 70 years later, worldwide specifications recognised as International Standards continue to be obtained and integrated into workplace practice and culture.

ISO 27001 is the internationally recognised Information Security Management Standard that verifies an organisation’s commitment to the security of their customer, employee and shareholders’ information. With ISO 27001 in place, we are able to minimise risks to potential data security breaches and reduce errors and costs, while demonstrating credibility and trust.

The benefits of certification to ISO 27001 include:

  • Proving to clients that we keep their information secure
  • Maintaining operational excellence
  • Minimising the risk of potential data security breaches
  • Protecting our reputation
  • Reducing errors and costs
  • Increasing profitability
  • Engaging and informing employees

ISO 9001 was first introduced in 1987 and requires organisations to demonstrate that they do what they say they do, and that they have a Quality Management System in place to ensure consistency and improvement; leading to high levels of performance and customer satisfaction. Certified organisations are committed to continuous improvement and are assessed to ensure progress is being maintained.

The benefits of certification to ISO 9001 include:

  • Streamlining our procedures
  • Bringing consistency to our service delivery
  • Reducing cost and rework
  • Improving our management practices;
  • Enhanced status
  • Competitive advantage
  • Lower insurance premiums

In addition, we are audited annually by Achilles UVDB, which includes an annual site visit to evaluate our management systems. The UVDB Verify Audit specifically examines our approach to Safety, Health, Environment and Quality and Corporate Social Responsibility. The Verify protocol provides companies with an independent assessment of suppliers’ management systems in each of the discipline areas both from an internal management system perspective as well as a test of the application onsite. Passing the Achilles assessment is an essential requirement for working with the offshore and utilities sectors.

Walkgrove will continue to maintain a high level of acquiring, updating, practising and reviewing independent assessments to ensure a high standard of quality in all areas of the business.
