Although this was the first time the Home Office had worked with Walkgrove we were impressed by the project team’s ability to create the course to our standards and specifications without problems. The project team followed our documentation without requiring extra guidance to produce a course that would run on our system.
I recently completed the online course and it really made me think about how this fits with our values and that we are having a strong impact and demonstrating leadership through our approach.
I just wanted to thank you for your help this week. I have been impressed with your thoroughness and positive, professional attitude.
I am very impressed! The graphics are great - the picture and sound quality are first rate. I really liked the 'vodcasts' in the resources section, that was great to see real people and hear about their experiences. It is clear and easy to work through; I liked the ease and pace of it. There is a lot of information that is packed into the course but it doesn't feel that way when you are doing it. It was good to be interactive in the question and answer sections throughout, as just simply clicking can be tiresome.
The course has been taken by all 4 staff members in Sweden. We all agreed that it was probably the best quality on-line course we’d taken, within or outside of the British Council. One of our staff members has a history of working with child protection in Scotland and has previously taken several courses on the subject. This staff member agreed that the course was very good quality and one of the few that seriously considered the perspective of the child.
