Launched to coincide with the National Housing Federation’s Rural Housing Week, the course “Affordable Rural Housing – Bringing affordable homes to rural areas”, is a free online module aimed specifically at those interested in or specialising in rural housing provision, including Local Authorities, registered providers and developers. United Utilities provides water and wastewater services to nearly seven million people in the North West of England, supplying 3.2 million households and over 400,000 business premises. Clearly, customer care is a critical aspect of their business. Aimed at around 300 contact centre agents based at two sites, our e-learning solution reinforces the outbound call process, offers guidance and best practice and provides an introduction to some of the skills required to make these calls successfully. The design is immersive - constructed around an authentic scenario that takes the learner through the outbound call process and delivers the core messages directly and succinctly.
The latest addition to our team is Keith Nichols. With over nineteen years experience in graphic arts and creative disciplines, Keith's talents include graphic art, illustration, animation, design for screen and print and video production. He is also an accomplished photographer.
Walkgrove has been appointed by the British Council and, more recently, UNHCR to design a range of bespoke e-learning solutions covering Child Protection.
I am quite delighted and I think the program is going to be a credit to both ourselves and to Walkgrove. Some of the illustrations are quite magnificent and anyone who works through just one module of it would have a good understanding of the issues involved.
The feedback from the pilot was very positive and there were few post-pilot amendments required. Walkgrove have established an excellent reputation within our organisation.
I found the course incredibly interesting. I really enjoyed how it made me question my levels of self-awareness, how it made me completely re-evaluate things I take for granted. It was fascinating, but also fun with a good balance between text and visual examples, quizzes, etc. Overall, it was a superb way of highlighting the advantages of all cultural approaches and attitudes; where previously there were things I’d thought of negatively, the course turned this on its head and actually showed me the positives in these differences. It was very useful to see which competences each module supported.
I like the pack and the task based approach. The layout is great. Plenty of tests, questions and exercises to help “fix” the learning – full of activity. Good stuff.
I was at a lessons learned workshop yesterday and the feedback on the elearning was that many agents thought it was the best they had ever gone through, both in terms of the package/interface and how well it mirrored the live system. So many thanks and congratulations on a job well done!
